The Cologne International Energy Summer School (CIESS) aims at bringing together distinguished scholars and young researchers in the field of energy and environmental economics to discuss research advances and relevant policy issues. The CIESS is a Summer School with emphasis on scientific interaction and exchange of thoughts. In particular, it provides a platform for graduate students to present and discuss their work with senior researchers and other graduate students. Young researchers are given the opportunity to develop a network and are exposed to current issues in their research field.
